Seeking enchantment in the Quiet Garden landscape
Annual Gathering – 10am – 4pm on Saturday 28 April, 2018
at St George’s CofE Church, Barbourne, Worcester, UK
Join the Quiet Garden Movement for a day of exploring silence and enchantment in the natural landscape. The day will take place at the Quiet Garden of St George’s Barbourne in Worcester and include talks, practical workshops and discussion – with opportunities for silent practice and to meet with others from the Quiet Garden Movement.
We will be joined by Rt Revd Graham Usher, Bishop of Dudley and author of Places of Enchantment – Meeting God In Landscapes.
…Muir saw that we can learn from nature and be restored to our true selves when we strip away our layers of self-protection and immerse ourselves in it. He wrote, ‘Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.’
