Children, spirituality and the natural world – workshop
14 October @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wrapped up: Gently, glowing, swaying, bubbling, rustling
Children and Spirituality and the natural world led by Rev Dr. Chris Walton
Cost £50 (places are limited) Lunch is included
Organised locally in conjunction with Godly Play – tha day is for all those who facilitate opportunities for children to experience quietness, especially in the natural world and to articulate their relationships with otherness. It will be a mixture of indoor work and outdoor experience, investigating, exploring and sharing our experience of the mystics we are privileged to know, or teach, to accompany and to love.
Chris Walton, a Trustee of the Quiet Garden Movement, will be sharing his work over 17 years with children on residentials at an outdoor eco-activity centre and will involve sharing the journey of discovering a way to interpret the children’s experience alongside our own – find out more on this work at http://quietgarden.org/2016/the-experience-of-children-in-the-garden/
