One event on 31 March, 2018 at 9:30am
Each guided quiet day will include times for contemplative prayer, conversation and creativity, both outside and indoors. Suggested donation £20, including a light lunch.
Each quiet day has a different theme:
20 January – Beginning – A New Thing
What do you sense is stirring within you that is waiting for the right conditions in order to emerge and flourish? At the start of a new year, join with others in taking time out to listen to God and explore the beginnings of new growth within.
17 February – Earthing – You are dust
(A retreat at the start of Lent)
On Ash Wednesday we hear these words: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” How might God want to speak to you through these powerful words, and the images they evoke? This day will involve getting your hands dirty!- Waiting – Do nothing. Just be.
31 March – Waiting – Do nothing. Just be.
Holy Saturday offers a liminal space lying between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This threshold moment is a wonderful opportunity, often overlooked, to explore the art of waiting well when past events don’t make sense and the future remains uncertain.
