Amersham Quiet Garden renamed The Roderick Quiet Garden
On Sunday, 17th June, Rev. Philip Roderick, a former vicar of St. Michael’s and founder of the Quiet Garden Movement, returned to Amersham for the renaming of the Quiet Garden. After preaching at the 10.00am service, he and Rev. Debbie Oades, the current vicar, led the congregation outside where a plaque was unveiled showing the new name, The Roderick Quiet Garden at St Michael’s.
There are seats in the garden which is open at any time to anyone who would like to spend a little time in stillness and contemplation. For more details about the Quiet Garden click here.
