Quiet Gardens on BBC Radio Wales – All Things Considered

Quiet Gardens was the focus of the latest episode of BBC Radio Wales – All Things Considered. Mary Stallard finds out about three very different Quiet Gardens in Wales, and their healing impact.
The programme visits Nicholaston House in The Gower, Gardd Tawel in Treherbert, Rhonnda valley, and the Quiet Space in Llanishen, Cardiff – finding out about the restorative nature of these Quiet Garden spaces and the impact on those who visit them.
Woven into the programme are interviews with Philip Roderick about how the seeds of the Quiet Garden Movement were sown in Wales, as well as the words of Cisterician Guerric of Igny’s 12th century Quiet Garden Prayer.
