Green Health Awards
The Green Health Awards have been launched to celebrate the efforts made by churches and Christian organisations to use gardens and churchyards creatively for well-being.
Quiet Gardens are well placed to be nominated for the Green Health Award, and we hope many will enter. Quiet Gardens are all about creating space to heal the mind, body and spirit, which is at the heart of the awards.
Nominate your Quiet Garden for a Green Health Award
The organisers want to hear from as many existing projects as possible, and the best projects will receive cash prizes, with ten runners up each receiving a set of garden tools!
The award criteria are that the project:
- is a garden-related activity
- promotes mental or physical well-being
- takes place in ground belonging to a Christian church or organisation in the UK
- promotes health within the wider community.
To nominate your Quiet Garden project visit the organiser’s website and complete the form.
The deadline for nominations is 31 July 2018.
