Moray Cottage Quiet Day 2nd December

The thoughts and questions to ponder during the silence were inspired by Margaret Silf’s chapter “Cave” – in her book “Landscapes of Prayer”

These were inspired by Margaret Silf’s chapter
“Cave” – in her book “Landscapes of Prayer”
Margaret begins the chapter with words from Etty Hillesum’s “An interrupted Life”, which she wrote just over a year before her death in Auschwitz.
“Even if I should be locked up in a narrow cell and a
cloud should drift past my small barred window, then I
shall bring you that cloud, O God, while there is still the
strength in me to do so.” Click here to enoy the full morning of prayer and contemplation.
