The Quiet Garden Movement is overseen and co-ordinated by The Quiet Garden Trust, a UK registered charity (No. 1038528).

Below are the policies adopted by the Trustees on behalf of The Quiet Garden Trust; they are reviewed and updated every 2-3 years or when legislation dictates:

Privacy Policies (2018) – The Quiet Garden Trust has adopted three policies that relate to data privacy and how we handle your data:

Privacy Policy – this policy outlines our commitment to you concerning your personal data.

Data Retention Policy – this policy outlines the different types of personal data we hold and the period of time we will hold them for.

GDPR Policy – this policy outlines, in practical terms, how we comply with GDPR and PECR, and details of how we manage ‘Consent’ and where we use ‘Legitimate Interest’ to contact some individuals and representatives of organisations.

Website and Cookies Privacy Policy – this policy outlines our use of cookies on the website and how we deal with data submitted via our website.

      QGT Volunteering Policy (2021)

             QGT Safety Insurance Policy (2021)

      QGT Safeguarding Policy (2021)

QGT Conflict of interest policy (2021)

       QGT Disciplinary and Appeals (2021)

       QGT Grievance Procedure (2021)

Due to the geographically diverse nature and local ownership of Quiet Gardens any policies and responsibilities for each Quiet Garden space are held by the individual Quiet Garden and are the responsibility of the Quiet Garden Host, not The Quiet Garden Trust.

The Trust advises and supports Affiliated and Associate Quiet Garden Hosts to develop and adopt their own policies.
