Hope in a time of change….Sanctuary Quiet Garden, Swanley Village

30 July @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

A quiet day on Saturday July 30th from 11am to 3pm in the garden of Sanctuary, Swanley Village

We live in times of great change, as a community, we are living through pandemic, war, climate change, poverty and
inequality. As individuals we face uncertainty, challenge, we are sometimes feel fearful and confused. We wonder ‘what
can I do’?
In the midst of unprecedented change – how do we encounter God? How do we hold on to the hope that our faith calls
us to?
This quiet day offers ‘time out’, space and peace in order to set aside some time with God and to reflect on your own
journey at this time.
Led by Chris Chapman, spiritual director, retreat leader, teacher and writer with input from Trudy Kilcullen – both
members of the Southwark Diocesan Spirituality Commission
The day starts at 11am and will include short inputs facilitated by Chris and Trudy, plus plenty of space for your own
prayer and reflection, time to sit in the garden, wander out on to the common, or around the churchyard of St Pauls or
surrounding Swanley Village. We will conclude at 3pm following a time of shared reflection and prayer.
Bring your own picnic for lunch – tea/coffee provided, covid safety measures will be in place

Please BOOK places are limited. There is no charge, but you are invited to make a donation.
