Volunteers Needed!

St Seraphim’s in Walsingham needs additional volunteers, as Welcomers in the Icon heritage Gallery and Quiet Garden, as well  as in Collections Management of the Icon, Pilgrimage and Railway archives, and creating a new Railway display.

St Seraphim’s was established in 1966, in the former railway station, which contains many original features, as well as the 70 metre platform.

If you would like to find out more about volunteering here with us we are holding 2 Autumn Open Afternoons on Weds 29th September and Wednesday 27th October from 2pm until 4pm, so you can see for yourself what our volunteers do when they are here!  Both dates include our volunteers giving Guided Tours at 2pm and 3pm.

Refreshments provided.

Volunteer led Guided Tours of the chapel continue through September and October on Weds and Sat at 2pm and 3pm; lasting approximately 40 mins and are currently limited to 6 people, so first come first served!

There is disabled access to the garden.

For further information and to book for a guided tour, please contact us on 01328 820610 or

St Seraphim’s, Station Road, Walsingham Norfolk. NR22 6EB

Limted parking at the front of the building, otherwise use the village car park.
