SUMMARY:Quiet Day
DESCRIPTION:The days starts at 10 am with tea/coffee and housekeeping\, then opening words  to set some ideas or themes \, then quiet time in the garden until 12\, when a short walk with some examples of current flowers or garden perspectives that have some relevance to spiritual matters in a parable or symbolic way.\n\n\n\n\nLunch is at 12.30\, followed by quiet time until.2pm then closing prayers after which tea and cake are served. We are usually finished by 3pm but there is no rush to leave if you wish on the dot of 3pm\, but we start to clear up at 3.30pm/4pm\n\n\nLunch is either soup and bread if the weather is cool. Soup is always vegetarian and lactose free\, GF cheese scone an option for those needing gf- although I would need notice of any food sensitivities. Alternative if weather is warm is cheese and bread with chutney and salad. \n\nThere is no charge \, but we leave a basket for donations out which is forwarded to The Quiet Garden Trust. We also have a visitors book and ask visitors to leave feedback in this.\nParking on site is very limited which is why numbers of attendees is limited to 7 or 8. Please contact Lyn to book a place jamesdairyfarm@btinternet.com

SUMMARY:Midsummer Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Jesus said “Consider how the wild flowers grow.” (Luke 12:27).  Or more idiomatically\, “Stop and smell the roses.” \nTaking time out from the frantic business of every day is important for our physical and spiritual health. \nOn 22nd June there is an opportunity to spend an hour in silence and meditation in our garden in Letham (near Forfar\, Angus). \nJoin us at 10.30am for coffee and an introduction\, then spend an hour any way you want in the garden\, meeting again for sharing and lunch. \nYou can visit at other times too. Just let us know. \nTo find out more or let us know you’re coming phone or message 07519756437.
