It helps to talk with those who have gone through the same pain\, in a safe place where you can share your story and hear how others are working their way through the grief. We provide the space\, alongside people who know what it’s like to lose someone you love. Through a series of short\, gentle sessions over a day\, you can mould and be with clay\, walk in nature\, and talk about the sadness that comes with bereavement. DESCRIPTION:The Bield has been a member of the Quiet Garden Movement for 20 years\, one of more than 250. \nQuiet Gardens across the world . We nurture access to outdoor spaces for prayer\, reflection and creativity. We are blessed to have a wide variety of such spaces at the Bield. This year we will highlight the Quiet Garden Movement with seasonal programme days and will donate part of the income to the Quiet Garden Organisation. \nEach Quiet day will begin with hot drinks and a tour round our delightful walled garden. Our garden team\, Pamela Grossi and Jillian Gibson will help you discover the gifts and surprises of the season. Our large garden offers a quiet\, gentle healing space which includes a\nlabyrinth\, orchard\, goats and a walled garden with a pond. Indoor spaces include a chapel that is centred in the garden\, and a large art room.\nA light lunch and hot drinks will be provided.\nThe day will end with tea and cake.
