Vi inleder med introduktion\, fm-fika och morgonbön kl 9.30.\nDå får du också med dig en bibelmeditation eller ”andlig övning”som du kan använda dig av under dagen. Därefter har du egen tid då du kan välja att t.ex\n➢ vara i trädgården\, kanske sitta i lusthuset eller annan plats om vädret är lämpligt.\n➢ ta en promenad i omgivningarna vid Säveån.\n➢ söka upp en plats inne för att be\, meditera eller läsa. DESCRIPTION:The Bield has been a member of the Quiet Garden Movement for 20 years\, one of more than 250. \nQuiet Gardens across the world . We nurture access to outdoor spaces for prayer\, reflection and creativity. We are blessed to have a wide variety of such spaces at the Bield. This year we will highlight the Quiet Garden Movement with seasonal programme days and will donate part of the income to the Quiet Garden Organisation. \nEach Quiet day will begin with hot drinks and a tour round our delightful walled garden. Our garden team\, Pamela Grossi and Jillian Gibson will help you discover the gifts and surprises of the season. They will also be available later to answer any questions you may have about gardening. \nThere will be a time of guided meditation and reflection to consider how the Season speaks to our spirits .  For those who wish this will be followed by a period of silence before lunch\, time to further explore the garden and its impact on you. \nLunch consists of an attractive variety of salads and potatoes or soup with as much Blackruthven produce as possible. \nIn the afternoon you will have the opportunity to work creatively with what the season offers.  Alternatively\, you can spend this time exploring the riches of the art space or enjoy discovering more of the Bield gardens. \nWe will finish the day with a time of prayer in the Chapel and a hot drink with home-baking \n\n\nFacilitator:\n\n\nOur gardening team Pamela Grossi and Jillian Gibson and Marianne Anker-Petersen \nFor further information and to download a leaflet please click here

SUMMARY:'Writing the spirituality of the natural world: A writing workshop to help us become nourished in nature'.
DESCRIPTION:Industrialisation\, IT and other factors have estranged many from the natural world. We expect the climate to bow to our wills\, and are put out if it upsets our plans. Voices in nature\, however\, call us to ground ourselves in our true place\, embedded as part of thecreated world. This workshop will help us consider some of these voices and their messages.\nThe hope is that we will deepen as our imagination connects with our environment\, and be nourished by paying attention to nature and being away from the duties and pressures of our normal lives.\nUsing the spacious gardens\, woods\, stream and labyrinth of Runcton Manor\, the day will include meditation\, an introduction to writing about nature\, and an opportunity to allow the environment to speak to us and help us to understand its meaning through our writing.\nWriting may include poetry\, prose or assemblages of thoughts and phrases. After sharing our experiences\, we will enjoy a simple lunch together. \nThe workshop will be led by Janet Aldridge\, a practising psychotherapist committed to creativity and spirituality. She has led creative writing workshops on themes including ‘Blessing’ and ‘Slower is better’. She is a regular attender at the Quiet garden mornings and also follows the World Community for Christian Meditation. \nArrive from 10.30am for tea and coffee. Finish by 2.00pm. Please bring contributions for a shared lunch. Inexperienced writers are very welcome. There is a suggested donation on day of £10-15 but this should not prevent anyone coming who cannot afford it.
