DESCRIPTION:Exploring Garden delights for International Women’s Week \nCome and enjoy a day at the peaceful centre of Holy Rood House\, a place that specialises in health and pastoral care. Helen\, one of our chaplains\, and Mike\,\nour residential community gardener\, will be offering creative ideas\, poems and prayers. Our large garden offers a quiet\, gentle healing space which includes a\nlabyrinth\, orchard\, goats and a walled garden with a pond. Indoor spaces include a chapel that is centred in the garden\, and a large art room.\nA light lunch and hot drinks will be provided.\nThe day will end with tea and cake. DESCRIPTION:Spending time in meditation or mindfulness is beneficial to our mental and spiritual health. A Quiet Garden day is held at Runcton Manor on the third Wednesday of every month. No sessions in January\, August or December. \nArrive any time after 10.45 for a 11am start. Finish at 1.00pm. \nThe day includes meditation\, as well as the possibility to draw\, write\, read\, explore the grounds and use the labyrinth. DESCRIPTION:Take time out of your daily routine. Cultivate an awareness of the natural world. Focus on observing\, listening and being attentive. \nQuiet Mornings  are led by a team of volunteers who guide participants through a series of simple exercises\, providing opportunities for quiet reflection\, and time to share.  Time is set aside to walk the labyrinth and the morning closes with 15 minutes silence. \nRefreshments are provided.
