Garden Description:
Great Chalfield Manor is a 15th century National Trust property, steeped in history, with beautiful gardens. The parish church dates from the 14th century and is located in the grounds. On Quiet Garden days the grounds and church are open to us by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Robert Floyd and the National Trust. The Manor is located between Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham and is only 11 miles from Bath.
Opening hours are:- 9.30a.m. for 10.00a.m. start, reflective service at 1.00p.m., depart by 3.00p.m. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available in the church. If you are staying for lunch (at 12 noon), please bring your own with you.
You are very welcome to stay for as much, or as little, of the day, as you wish. Please make yourself known at the church, on your arrival.
