Breathing Space Coventry

Location: Allesley Village Coventry West Midlands CV5 England

Type: Retreat Centre  /  Offers accommodation? Yes  /

Open: All year  /  Garden Capacity: 12

Garden Description:

Our cottage garden of 1/4 acre is well-established and secluded, with 'rooms' for solitude and prayer. You will find a variety of cheerful borders, vegetable plots, an apple orchard, an arbour, and a pond .

Even in cooler weather, we enjoy the garden from a small chapel and a garden room, through generous windows and sliding glass doors. Breathing Space Coventry is a haven on the outskirts of the city, where the general public can experience renewal and reconciliation, rest and restoration, and where conversations unfold that draw our spirits towards God.

  1. Thank you for your evening prayers that soothe the soul. Anna and Beatrice, thank you too for your lovely contribution this evening. It is very grounding to connect with God through Breathing Space evening prayer and we appreciate being able to listen and watch whilst we are constrained from visiting in person.

  2. I found a warm welcome and kind hospitality at Breathing Space in Coventry. The colours and scents in the garden gave me the opportunity to unwind and to rest by the orchard. It is a tranquil haven and a place to restore the soul.
