Garden Description:

The garden is set overlooking the Menai Strait on Anglesey. A short, steep drive leads to an elevated seating area with views over Beaumaris harbour and up to the Snowdonia hills beyond. Side entrances lead to patio areas where views of the terraces planted in naturalistic style are found. The garden is rich in wildlife, attracting species with berried shrubs, native plantings and floriferous borders. Hand-railed steps lead to the upper grassed area where a potager and summer house can be found. There are art materials to be had here if your creative spirit is brought to the fore. Art workshops are planned.

Cae Mair is open by appointment only - please contact Georgina directly to book.

Quiet Tiimes by Georgina Melling

Find yourself a quiet place:

We forgo the pleasure

Of holding ourselves still

Of savouring the moment

To refresh our minds.

Why do we deprive ourselves?

Find yourself a still space:

We have the urge to employ

The minutes, the hours

Creating commotion.

Where are we going?

Find yourself an open space:

We live at a pace

Where we can’t find a space

To pause and reflect

To grow in ourselves.

What is the purpose of our being here?

Find the time to breathe the air.

Find the time to gaze your eyes.

Find the time to open your heart.

Find the time to reveal your soul.
