Garden Description:

Welcome to an oasis of relaxation in a setting of prestigious serenity. In an enchanting tranquil environment full of restorative qualities to one´s mental and spiritual reserves.
At the heart of Östergötland´s ancient oak woodland on the banks of Lake Boren´s nothern beach lies Kristbergs rusthåll. It´s history dates back as far as 1260, when the bishop in Linköping owned the farm and the adjacent church.

The garden of today is based on a design made by the head gardener of Linköping in the year 1891.

Regardless of whether you are simply passing through or choose to stay longer to experience a part of history in these unique surrondings we extend a very warm welcome to Kristbergs Rusthåll.

The main garden is about 2 acres and there is an oak woodland which is 10 acres.

We are still restoring the garden and will hopefully be able to open on week-ends in the late summer.
