Rugy boarder Marshwall

On first arriving at Marshall you enter the House Garden – lots of flowers including roses and herbaceous borders, best enjoyed from May to September.  But  there is much more to be explored. Leaving the house behind you can find the surprise garden – through a paved yard, hidden to view from the house, you discover the new garden which until 2016 was just a pony paddock. This half acre site now includes a small wildlife pond, and wildlife areas, an enclosed productive garden and a small orchard with hay meadow flowers. There is a sitting area beside the pond, and places to sit both in the productive garden and the orchard. From the orchard there are views of the Shropshire Hills. Most days you will find one of us gardening somewhere in the garden – and in the summer there will usually be chickens in the orchard.
