The grounds and Quiet Garden of Nicholaston House are mostly managed and maintained by a small, but dedicated, group of volunteers. The peaceful and beautifully-situated Quiet Garden features a wild bird garden, having equipment for viewing from the conservatory, a prayer walk, wildlife pond and various seating areas.

Visits to the Quiet Garden are *generally by prior appointment only - please contact the booking office on (01792) 371317 or email

*In February 2022, Nicholaston House opened a drop-in coffee shop facility (Coffee by The Bryn) with indoor and outdoor seating available. Now, regardless of whether the whole Quiet Garden is open, people can visit and experience the peaceful setting of Nicholaston House and enjoy some lovely homemade refreshments.
