Two long burgage plots provide a safe space where both people and nature can thrive. Supported by Zion United Reformed Church, volunteers nurture a variety of habitats for wildlife and areas for humans to play, explore or just sit; watch, listen and simply be.
A concrete path provides level access to a patio and allows views of our sustainably grown fruit and veg, flowerbeds and shrub borders, plant stall, pond and wildflower meadow. A winding woodchip path and stepping stone routes encourage discovery of hidden gems including a campfire, mud kitchen, composting area, air raid shelter and wildlife ponds.
Sharing is at the core of what we do; we share our produce with the local food bank and volunteers, we give our time, skills and space to help others discover the natural world and their own innate worth.
