Penhurst Retreat

The gardens at Penhurst Retreat Centre are a peaceful haven for wildlife and visitors. Natural wildflower meadows are being developed around the old fruit trees with close mown paths winding through them. As you wander you will hear crickets and grasshoppers as well as birds singing and see butterflies, beetles and bees all going about their business around you. Take time to rest in one of our summerhouses or prayerfully walkthe simple grass Labyrinth at the heart of the Orchard. Overlooking the whole area is our well stocked Art Room with sunny patio outside, perfect for inspiring creativity or simply sitting and taking in the view. We aim to provide a peaceful space that honours our creator God whilst drawing his children closer to him as they experience the detail, beauty and diversity of his creation up close.
