Garden Description:Parish Church and Retreat Centre with Cottage incorporated.
Extensive grounds surrounding the buildings. Behind the church/hall you will find the Mosaic Peace Garden. The terraced bank below it has been laid out as the Stations of the Cross. Down the bank there is a small, rather hidden patio, but it can only be reached at present by people who are good on their feet.
At present our garden is a work in progress. More benches are planned and areas for group meetings are also planned. The Cottage can be used in the meantime. It has a conservatory attached and kitchen facilities if the weather is bad. We are in the process of building a disabled access toilet onto the Cottage. The church hall has a disabled access toilet and full toilet facilities, as well as a kitchen. So if the weather is bad, visitors are able to use whatever is available.
The garden is completely open. The local Methodist and Anglican Churches use our grounds, and we are talking to other bodies to make them aware of what we can offer particularly the elderly, lonely and disabled.
Accommodation: We have three twin bed rooms for visitors in the Cottage on a self-catering basis, but booking is required to make sure they are available.
Booking also required for day groups. A donation to cover expenses is gratefully received.
