We were fortunate to have walked some of the Pilgrim trail on a Thursday as it meant we could visit the garden, after our reviving coffee and cake at the Heritage centre. We were amazed at the beauty of the flowers and the wonderful fruit and vegetables being grown. The warmth of the top terrace and the variety of clematis among the other flowers was a delight. Then we walked through the wooded glade to the pond and my very knowledgeable companions remarked they had never seen so many special and beautiful trees planted together in the same garden. The fabulous bark of many of the specimens singled them out for attention and admiration. The garden must be a delight at any time of year. We were more than happy to donate and all hope we will be able to visit again at another season. Thank you for sharing.
Visited your garden today, was such a priveledge to be allowed into your private property. I was amazed by the garden and your kindness to allow me to be there.
It’s a wee piece of heaven.
Ps. I think a lady said hello to me when I entered, I didn’t respond as didn’t realise she was talking to me. It’s preyed on my mind all day that you may have thought I was just rude. Sorry.
Thank you for allowing us once again to visit your beautiful garden, this time with my daughter & little grandson Thomas, You might remember him yellow coat & green wellies! We all really appreciated the tranquility of your wonderful garden. When asked later about his day & favourite thing Thomas said it was the visit to your garden, he loved seeing the bee hives in particular. Thank you for sharing your special place. Hope to visit again soon, Sandy.
