St Mark's Haydock

The garden around the Church is linked / signposted by self -guided ‘Spiritual Walk’ guide through hedge enclosed Centenary Community Garden (with series of ‘rooms’ , some formal cultivated / part semi-wild) intentionally leading to extensive Graveyard. The Central Labyrinth with signage and meditation spaces is based on 8 key words from Philippians Ch.4 v8: ‘Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, praiseworthy – think about these things….’
