Garden Description:

Hosted by Elaine and Martin Mee, the garden is about three quarters of an acre in a rural setting with a wood behind and is situated 10 miles north west of Durham. It is a private, home garden which we hope will encourage wildlife but with some areas a work in progress!

There is a labyrinth and seating areas, which include a summerhouse and conservatory in which there are facilities for making hot drinks and access to a toilet.

All visitors are welcome to stay for as short or long a time as they wish and we hope all who visit will experience a sense of peace and relaxation.

2020 Opening times: Woodlea will be open Wednesday 20th May, Thursday 21st May and the the last Wednesday and Thursday of each month until the end of September.

If people would like to come as a group, on a different day from when we are open, that can be arranged if they just ring or email.
