Offering reflective time with spiritual readings and discussion; with time for stillness and meditation. Contemplating God, creation and the natural world.

St Anne’s Church, Glenholt is a beautiful, modern space, often described as ‘tranquil’ by those who come.  Outside are beautiful flower borders, and a wonderful wild-garden, both of which offer space and time to reflect, whatever the season.

St Mary’s Church, Plympton, in contrast, is a large, much older church, although very similar in offering stillness, and prayerful reflecting spaces inside. The churchyard, which goes back many centuries, and backs onto the old Priory, gives inspiration on various levels for pondering and reflection, including wildlife of many sorts, history, wild-grasses and trees.

Visitor information

Our gatherings consist of 30 minutes of sharing spiritual writings followed by 30 minutes of stillness and silence to contemplate. We then come together to share our thoughts and reflections.
We presently gather monthly at two locations in Plymouth – alternately at St Anne’s Church in Glenholt, and St Mary’s Church in Plympton. (10.30am on fourth Friday of the month).
We welcome all faiths and none.
