The first part of the garden is fully accessible with plenty of seating areas. The second part of the garden (the Secret Garden) is left to itself with native plants, trees and bees who have a clear flight line into the neighbouring field. 

The garden surrounds Tosturi Retreat House and Poustinia Garden Cabin. ‘Tosturi’ means ‘Compassion’ in Welsh. The garden and retreat spaces offer a gentle, welcoming place for all who wish to spend contemplative time in healing nature. 

Tosturi Retreat House is a tranquil 2 bedroom cottage, nestled into the South Shropshire Hills, providing a comfortable base for individual or self-guided retreats, or as a place to come to for a peaceful self-catering break. Poustinia Garden Cabin is located in the Secret Garden. It is surrounded by birdsong and provides a self-contained retreat space for 1 person. 5 miles from Ludlow and just minutes from the long distance Shropshire Way footpath, with walks and bike rides straight from the garden.

Spiritual direction is available if wished for. Occasional Quiet Days and Workshops take place in the garden.  Retreats for burnout, carer-strain, long term conditions and life-review are also offered.
