A Retreat Day at St Anne’s Kew
Kew Theology and Gardening works to deepen our understanding of the relationship between theology and the natural world. It has a very similar ethos to The Quiet Garden Movement that spending time outdoors in a garden and in nature is hopeful, restorative, contemplative and in cooperation with God’s bountiful creation.
We were delighted to be invited to share a quiet retreat day at St Anne’s – starting with worship led by canon Dr Giles Fraser, walking the Stations of the Trees, sharing a delicious soup lunch, engaging with a quiet afternoon led by our Chair Revd Kate Lawson and finishing with a Sung Evensong. A truly blessed day.
