Garden Description:
The garden at Fulligrove House consists of different spaces – lawn with fruit trees, bushes, flower borders, vegetable plot and patio areas. There is a well and a vine and countryside views. Although easily accessible it is secluded and private. The summer house is a lovely place to sit and there are benches and chairs and an arbour in other parts of the garden.
The house and garden are partly owned by the Abundant Life for All Christian Community charity (www.alfacc.org.uk) which aims to support adults with learning difficulties in particular but Fulligrove House is also a centre for hospitality and encouragement of faith. People with learning difficulties are trained in gardening skills here part of the time and woodwork training takes place here as well. Quiet Garden Days take place on other days!
Quiet Mornings at Fulligrove House Garden are on the 2nd Monday of the month, 10.30am-12.30pm. The dates for this term are 12th September, 10th October, 14th November and 12th December.
