The gardens are in a secluded space around the Unitarian Chapel in the heart of Kendal. The rose garden is at the front, the Multi-Faith Garden of Remembrance at the side and a lawn and flower beds at the rear. They are open to all from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm throughout the summer and from Monday to Wednesday from 10am to 4pm during the winter.
