  1. Visited Midfield a couple of years ago for a retreat weekend. Beautiful abbey church, very holy atmosphere. The Brothers were very tolerant of a visitor who found keeping quiet difficult! There may be scripture readings at meal times.
    Simple food & accomodation but all clean & most acceptable. Free safe car parking on site.
    Lovely gardens with veg patch & hives.
    Quiet & memorable services in the church, which has lovely open space & architecture.
