Location: 2 miles outside Lanchester, County Durham, DH7, England
Type: Private Home / Offers accommodation? NO / Permanent Labyrinth
Open: Seasonal / Garden Capacity: 8
Garden Description:Hosted by Elaine and Martin Mee, the garden is about three quarters of an acre in a rural setting with a wood behind and is situated 10 miles north west of Durham. It is a private, home garden which we hope will encourage wildlife but with some areas a work in progress!
There is a labyrinth and seating areas, which include a summerhouse and conservatory in which there are facilities for making hot drinks and access to a toilet.
All visitors are welcome to stay for as short or long a time as they wish and we hope all who visit will experience a sense of peace and relaxation.
The garden will be open this year but we'll operate a booking system which worked well last year. There will be 2 hourly slots, with an hour in between for any cleaning. People can then come alone or with family or friends. They are also welcome to stay longer if there is no one booked after them.
