A stream side walk, with possible sightings of kingfishers, herons and dippers, edges the garden with
many places to sit and think. A labyrinth is cut into the grass and there are a variety of small paths.
Currently under development is a ‘Time-Aside Trail’ with points to reflect and think relating to our
Christian Faith.
The planting is woodland inspired, to encourage wildlife; there is a red theme to the planting in front
of the cross.
Raised beds feature plants to stimulate the senses through touch – texture; sight – colours, shapes,
sizes; smells from flowers and squeezing the herbs and even sound – whispering grasses.
Small animal ornaments can be found dotted around to encourage children to explore and there is a
small bark area with stepping stones and some chalk boards.
There is ample car parking available, the garden is open Dawn to Dusk – occasionally other activities
may be taking place. Some paths are accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs – others may be
uneven with steps.
