The garden comprises of woodland, lawns, herbaceous borders, rose garden, a kitchen garden with nursery, hedges, a wildflower labyrinth, bee hives, sculpture and extensive shubberies. There are hidden spaces and tucked away seats. As well as being a private garden of the Bishop of Norwich and his family, Bishop Graham and Rachel Usher use it as part of their ministry of hospitality and to support a wide range of local charities.

The garden is opened six times a year for quiet days, as well as for groups by arrangement.
