Broombee

The Chapel is surrounded by natural Australian bush, with plenty of lavender and rosemary planted around it and lots of kangaroos.

The  small Chapel, which seats about 20 people,  and is full of interesting things, was built in 1997 and has been used for Christenings, Weddings and also cremations.  It is a place of reflection – somewhere for contemplation, to collect your thoughts, regain your sense of purpose, and generally to enjoy the true Australian bush.

Owned by the Steele family, the Chapel is the home of the Bathurst Anglican Franciscans.

All are welcome to come and experience the peace the Chapel offers, or perhaps picnic by the river.
