Garden Description:

An old fashioned English garden laid out in the 1840's but sadly allowed to revert during the first half of the 20th century and now being slowly restored by Tom & Jo. Elmham House is set in Parkland with a more formal garden near the house, a shrubbery of azaleas, rhododendrons and many specimen trees leading into a recently cleared woodland area with wild flowers. The 18th century walled garden has a collection of old English Apples and other fruit. Within walking distance is a recently restored ice house (1765) a Dovecote and a Game Larder both 1840. The Game Larder has recently been restored and converted into a chapel always open to visitors. The recently opened Pilgrim Route (from Norwich to Walsingham) the Walsingham Way passes through the estate close to the chapel. Available for groups and individuals.

Accommodation is available The Old Laundry Cottage on the estate which is bookable through airbnb.co.uk
