We have exciting plans for our Physick Garden re-opening on Saturday, 28 June. Our Physick Garden plantings are based on John Wesley’s Primitive Physick, a compendium of natural remedies for ailments of all kinds. The Physic Garden is planted in groupings of different types of remedies. Sue Hollingsworth will be performing passages from Primitive Physick at 17:00 and 19:00.
We will also be participating in Epworth Open Gardens days, 5-6 July.
A modern version of a medieval mystery play in the garden is planned for 19 July at 14:00. Details forthcoming.
Games in the Garden is a chance for children to come and try old-fashioned garden games. It will run for the month of August.
