Hirfron is a biodiverse smallholding in rural mid-Wales, dedicated as a quiet place of prayer, creativity and welcome. We welcome fellow pilgrims to stay for personal retreat in one of our two restored stone barns. Our water comes from a hill spring, and in a move towards more sustainability, we have installed ground-source heating for the house and barns. Whilst here, you may join us in our daily rhythm of prayer and meditation, working in the kitchen garden or in the art studio, or spend the time in solitude. There are quiet sitting places indoors and outside with views over the Dulas valley and longer walks in the surrounding Cambrian hills.
Visitor information
You are most welcome to stay for a time of personal retreat and quiet space in either of our restored stone barns adjoining our house. You may come on your own, with a loved one or friend, or as a small group (maximum of 6 sharing).
Opening times
The barns are available on a self-catering basis from Monday to Friday for 2-4 nights. Please enquire about availability and terms.
