A peaceful place to sit, rest, pray and reflect, surrounded by nature and bird song. The new chapel ‘The Chapel of Christ’s Stillness’ built in 2020 replaced the old chapel which had been on the same site and footprint since c1800 and was dedicated in May 2022.
We offer: prayer walk; prayer room; swimming pool; Victorian summerhouse; wonderful views; wildflower beds; picnic area adjoining ancient woodland. Close to the 1066 walk and believed to be set on ley lines
Visitor information
We offer accommodation and camping for pilgrims.
There is ample parking, disabled toilets and showers. Most areas suitable for disabled.
