Penhurst Retreat Centre

Location: Penhurst, Battle East Sussex TN33 9QP England

Type: Retreat Centre  /  Offers accommodation? Yes  /  Permanent Labyrinth

Open: All year  /  Garden Capacity: 20

Garden Description:

There are peaceful gardens around the Manor House, particularly the Orchard with a grass labyrinth, pond, summer house, country views and a new Art Room.

It is with sad hearts, that the decision has been made to close Penhurst Retreat Centre to guests and visitors for the foreseeable future.

We trust that we will open again once the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic passes, but how long that will take is unknown.

The decision has not been taken lightly, but follows UK government instruction for all pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants, gym and leisure facilities to close immediately as part of attempts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus by limiting social gatherings and urging people to stay at home. Whilst Penhurst is not directly in any of the categories specified by the government, a core part of our ethos is to offer hospitality and catering, and to gather people together.

We hope to continue offering and developing online inspiration and reflections, so please keep a look out for this on our Facebook page and website (see below).
