Situated at the end of a ‘no through road’ and surrounded by farmland, the well-tended churchyard has two much loved footpaths runningthrough it. These lead down to the River Avon, the ruins of Guys Cliffe House and a footbridge across to the ancient Saxon Mill pub and restaurant. There are several benches in the different areas of the churchyard. There is a carpet of snowdrops in early Spring followed by a profusion of daffodils. An area is being developed as a wildflower meadow.According to a recent churchyard survey over 90% of the people who walkthrough the church grounds treasure the peace and tranquillity and the chance toget away from the built up areas of the town to spend some time in quiet contemplation.
