Designed in 2011, the garden has mainly native, wildlife-friendly plants. Shrubs and small trees at one end give a contemplative woodland atmosphere, while the other end is open, with more summer colour and a gravel border. There are also fruit trees, herbs, and some unusual hand-crafted artefacts. There are several benches to sit on, and the garden is wheelchair accessible, though with some uneven paving. In 2023 new paving and redesigned paths are being installed to make the garden more dementia-friendly and safer for all users.

A new meditative corner with seating, a shelter and new planting will make the garden comfortable and welcoming in all weathers. The garden will remain open except for a short period during repaving – please check the website for information.
