As the mercury starts to fall a little, I’m writing to tell you that I’ve just finished an audio resource for the summer called ‘Holiday for the Soul’, which is ready for you to download now.
It’s just over an hour long, and has five short, summer-themed reflections – with some familiar contemplative practice woven in – to help you to reflect and connect with a beautiful (yet over-heating) season.
You could take it on a walk, or take more time with it on a personal retreat day … or if you’re going on holiday, why not use it as a little daily inspiration, bit by bit – to help you draw deeper of summer’s goodness, and to bring that goodness home with you!
You can find a few more details and download the audio file here.
(And if you’d like to make a small donation via that page, you can – my suggestion is £5 – but please have it as my gift if the cost of living crisis is biting.)
I really hope you enjoy it!
A Few Dates for the Diary
Sat Aug 20 and 27 – BBC Radio 4 Thought for the Day, 7.45am.
Fri Sept 2 and 9 – ‘YouTube Live’, 7pm.
Fri Sept 16 – ‘Late-Summer Soulfulness’ – a day retreat featuring the gorgeous grass labyrinth at the Wigwam Retreat Centre in Riddlesworth, Norfolk. More details soon – save the date!
October – I plan to lead some half-day walking retreats from Winchester in the autumn. Again, details coming soon!
Whether you’re going away or not this year, I hope you have a restful and inspiring summer – and that ‘Holiday for the Soul’ is a helpful companion along the way.
With my appreciation.
